Information we collect
- Information you give us through forms. When you request an instrument, offer to donate one, or share a story, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, email, phone number, location, and any information about the instrument or family.
- Donation information. Monetary donations are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We receive a confirmation and limited details (such as name, email, and amount), but we do not store full card numbers — those are handled directly and securely by Stripe.
- Basic usage data. We use privacy-friendly analytics (Cloudflare) that do not use tracking cookies or build advertising profiles.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request, arrange instrument pickups or handoffs, and coordinate donations.
- To process and acknowledge monetary gifts and provide tax receipts.
- To share updates about our work, only if you've asked to hear from us.
Children's and family information
Because we serve families and students, some forms may include information about minors, provided by a parent or guardian. We collect only what we need to provide an instrument, we never sell it, and we share it only as described below. Photos of students are published only with explicit consent from a parent or guardian.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, including:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Airtable — securely storing and managing form submissions.
- Our email provider — sending confirmations and replies.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
Your choices
