Who we are
Play It Forward is a nonprofit organization that collects, refurbishes, and donates musical instruments to families and students.
Instrument requests and donations
- Submitting a request does not guarantee an instrument. We match available, restored instruments to families as supply allows.
- When you offer to donate an instrument, you confirm it is yours to give. We may decline items we're unable to use or restore.
- We arrange pickups and handoffs in good faith but cannot guarantee specific timing.
Monetary donations
Donations are processed securely by Stripe. Gifts to Play It Forward are generally tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law; we'll provide a receipt for your records. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us at playitforwardpassion@gmail.com and we'll do our best to help.
Acceptable use
Please use this site lawfully and don't attempt to disrupt it, misuse our forms, or submit false information.
